Prime Oceanfront 2BR Apt • Walk to Beach & Lagos

Property - Prime Oceanfront 2BR Apt • Walk to Beach & Lagos Unprofessional host - Canceled Mid-StayI would leave negative stars if possible. The place doesn’t have any body available locally to help you check in, provide basic maintenance or a walkthrough. A local guy will arrive if you are lucky after couple of hours but won’t be able to fix anything. The listing advertised a washer & dryer in unit, but it is actually is a shared laundry. No access to pool even if you pay.The condo had a cracked dishwasher door which won’t even open & a broken front shutter door which won’t close. When we asked the host to fix these issues, she became highly defensive, accused us of harassment, & threatened to cancel our booking. The next day—right in the middle of our stay—she carried out her threat & canceled the remaining two nights of our reservation without our consent. The host explicitly promised she would refund us for the two unused nights if we checked out, but once we left, she went back on her word & refused. She then falsely claimed we damaged the dishwasher to avoid paying. It took a formal bank dispute & escalation to the Vrbo Care Supervisor Team to finally force her to return the money under pressure. Vrbo support was excellent, gracefully placing us in an alternative hotel at no additional cost.We enjoyed the rest of our vacation, thanks to Vrbo, but avoid this property at all costs if you do not want your trip disrupted by an unreliable and an unprofessional host.

Clean place (& clean floors) Great view & location Very responsive AC worked Parking was easy Outdoor deck was a great bonus Even got to do some laundry for the rest of our trip No complaints We would come back

We were very pleased with our stay. Wine and water waiting upon our arrival. We booked last minute do to the storms in other areas of Portugal. Rosa was very accommodating with this.Check in was very straightforward with no issues.Beautifully done apartment very new, modern and clean.Everything you need was available. Best view and patio in the complex!
